Candidate Name: Affiliation: Date: Location: Event: Context: “…” Dr. Ben Carson:Republican Party:November 19, 2015:Mobile, Alabama:Campaign rally:Refugees: “If there is a rabid dog running around your neighborhood, you’re probably not going to assume something good about that dog. And you’re probably going to put your children out of the way,” Carson said. “Doesn’t mean that you hate all dogs, by any stretch of the imagination. But, you’re putting your intellect into motion and you’re thinking, how do I protect my children?”
“By the same token, we have to have in place screening mechanisms that allow us to determine who the mad dogs are, quite frankly,” Carson continued. “Who are the people who want to come in here and hurt us and want to destroy us? Until we know how to do that, just like it would be foolish to put your child out into the neighborhood knowing that that was going on, it is foolish for us to accept people if we cannot have the appropriate type of screening.”
The best one so far, in my opinion, is Ms. Clinton using 9/11 to justify Wall Street money. I wish Corey Booker were running against her in Democratic primaries. Sanders has some good ideas, but I don't see him raising enough money or get enough endorsements to upset her.
Ben 'Urkel' Carson and Donald 'Toupee' Trump are just jokers; I would be laughing, if it weren't so sad.
teggy, what are your views on afghan refugees in Pakistan again?
There are No Afghan refugees in Pakistan, The Afghans are our neighbors they are welcome to come and go whenever they feel the need! let us not get too technical here Queer Sahib! :)
I personally do not think Trump will win. He has some supporters, however, a large majority of Americans still don't like him or do not fall for this Islamophobia thing. Compared to many Europeans, US society is still relatively tolerant and understands things.
