Dr. Ben Carson:Republican Party:November 19, 2015:Mobile, Alabama:Campaign rally:Refugees: “If there is a rabid dog running around your neighborhood, you’re probably not going to assume something good about that dog. And you’re probably going to put your children out of the way,” Carson said. “Doesn’t mean that you hate all dogs, by any stretch of the imagination. But, you’re putting your intellect into motion and you’re thinking, how do I protect my children?”
“By the same token, we have to have in place screening mechanisms that allow us to determine who the mad dogs are, quite frankly,” Carson continued. “Who are the people who want to come in here and hurt us and want to destroy us? Until we know how to do that, just like it would be foolish to put your child out into the neighborhood knowing that that was going on, it is foolish for us to accept people if we cannot have the appropriate type of screening.”

Ben Carson Compares Refugees To Rabid Dogs

Vote Sanders.

Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign flubs/foot-in-mouth moments

The best one so far, in my opinion, is Ms. Clinton using 9/11 to justify Wall Street money. I wish Corey Booker were running against her in Democratic primaries. Sanders has some good ideas, but I don't see him raising enough money or get enough endorsements to upset her.

Ben 'Urkel' Carson and Donald 'Toupee' Trump are just jokers; I would be laughing, if it weren't so sad.

Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign flubs/foot-in-mouth moments

I don't consider refugees of any kind to be rabid dogs. Don't troll or derail the thread. If you can't add anything to the topic, stay out of it.

Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign flubs/foot-in-mouth moments

Weren't 70% of Trump supporter fine with his "ban all Muslims" from entering the United States?

Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign flubs/foot-in-mouth moments

^ not sure about 70% number, but large supporters of him are in favor

Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign flubs/foot-in-mouth moments

I personally do not think Trump will win. He has some supporters, however, a large majority of Americans still don't like him or do not fall for this Islamophobia thing. Compared to many Europeans, US society is still relatively tolerant and understands things.
