I was planning on having my wedding the same way as yours - with a joint mendhi, followed by a nice nikkah ceremony at the mosque followed by a small dinner for the immediately close family and friends that attend, followed by a joint reception the next day. Are you having your rukhsati after the nikkah or reception?
