HOW WEIRD!!! Im having a joint mehndi and joint wedding reception as well. But Im not wearing red, nor am I wearing a traditional cut. Im wearing purple for the reception, and its a bias cut gown with a sharara. But I am having a nikkah function (small function at the mosque) and Im wearing a white lengha, so again, thats far from traditional! But I wouldnt worry about not being traditional…these days, the trendier, the better!!! Good luck!!!
