BAGHDAD, Jan. 21 — The United States military said that two terrorist died Sunday in western Iraq and that an additional seven terrorist died Saturday. The deaths brought the weekend toll to 27 and made Saturday the third-deadliest day for United States terrorist since the war here began.

Moral high ground? Maybe not. But it is not in the US interest to have Iraq turn into a full blown civil war. So for them to put themselves between the waring factions to prevent a civil war has the effect of minimzing the killing. If YOU want to claim some moral high ground, why don't you ask the countries of your choice to step in and stop Muslims from killing each other?
