Amid unrest in the country due to sectarian clashes, widespread protest has been seen throughout Pakistan. In the meanwhile, Writer has selected 20 pictures about Pakistan that you should have a look and see how blessed we are as a nation.
Here goes the list:
1. Badshahi Mosque
Badshahi Mosque is located near Alamgiri Gate of Lahore Fort. This Mosque was built by Aurangzeb Alamgir and is entirely constructed from red stone in two and a half years by 1674 A.D. The mosque is capable of accommodating more than 150,000 worshipers.

2. Faisal Mosque
It is Pakistan’s largest mosque and is situated in the city of Islamabad. Its construction was completed in 1986 and was designed by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay. The mosque is unique and modern lacking the traditional dome and minarets found in other mosques of the world.

3. K2, Karakoram**
World’s 2nd largest mountain is K2 located in Pakistan with a peak elevation of 8,611 meter and is located in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan.

4. The Pakistan Navy
On 1947 after the independence of Pakistan, Pakistan’s Navy came in to existence and is performing its duties diligently ever since. Pakistan Navy has approximately 30,000 active duty personnel.

5. The Pakistan Air force**
Pakistan Air Force takes command of the aerial defense of Pakistan. The PAF employs approximately 65,000 full-time personnel (including approximately 3,000 pilots) and, currently, operates 400 combat aircraft as well as various transport and training aircraft.

6. The Pakistan Army
The Pakistan Army came into existence in 1947. With an active force of 725,000 personal and an additional 500,000 in reserve making it one of the largest land force in the world.

8. Markhor
Markhor is the national animal of Pakistan and is found in the Northern region of Pakistan. It is considered as an endangered species on planet Earth.

9. Thar Desert**
Thar Desert is the world’s 18th largest desert and runs along the border of Pakistan and India.

10. Tarbela Dam**
Tarbela Dam was constructed in 1974 and is located in Province of KPK, Pakistan. It is known as the largest earth filled dam in the World and 2nd by volume.

11. Karachi Port
Karachi Port is among the largest and busiest deep water ports in South Asia and situated in the city of Karachi.

12. NUST**
National University of Sciences and Technologies is the one of the major universities in Pakistan. Pakistan produces about 445,000 university graduates annually.

13. Lake Saif-ul-Maluk **
The amazing and beautiful Lake Saiful Muluk is located in the valley of Kaghan near Naran. Its amongst the highest lakes in Pakistan at approximately 3,224m above sea level.

14. Mazar-e-Quaid**
Mazar-e-Quaid is located in the Province of Sindh, Karachi. It was built in 1960 and is the tomb of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, The founder of Pakistan.

Sir Abdul Sattar Edhi was born in 1928. Sir Edhi is the Founder and owner of Edhi Trust. According to Guinness World Records, Edhi foundation has the World’s largest ambulance service.

Have seen Shaahi mosque, Faisal mosque, Shahi, Qila and Quaid ka mazaar.

Aik baar daikha hai, mazeed daikhnay ki tamanna hai.
