20 militants killed, six US soldiers wounded in Afghanistan
KABUL: About 20 suspected insurgents and one Afghan policeman were killed in a bloody battle in the mountains of southeastern Afghanistan, the US military said on Wednesday. Six American soldiers were wounded.
Can someone please tell me whether there were any 3 year long insurgencies launched by the Japanese and the Germans after world war 2? Isn’t it obvious that the Afghans don’t like the Americans?

As a Pakistani against americans in Afghanistan, can you explain why there are no protests about americans using the Jacobabad airbase freely even today to aid their troops in Kabul? Do you think it is because it isnt obvious to pakistanis that afghans dont like the americans?

^ Duh, there are protests happening in Pakistan every single day (a million man march happened last month)... you need to pick up a Pakstani Newspaper and learn common sense rather than just read and watch everything off CNN and Fox News which tries to portray how much the Americans are loved all over the world.
I'm still waiting for someone in my area to admit they actually like the Americans but instead all i've heard so far is how much backward and greedy the American people are (and oh, I live in a Frangi area).

Oh i was under the impression that the MMA million man march was to get rid of Mush. Which reminds me, why is pakistan ruled by a person they dont like? Are Pakistanis uncapable of picking a popular leader? How can Pakistanis who cant pick their own leader have serious opinions about who and how to govern Afghanistan hara-aur-safaid yaar.

Even 2 million people marched against Tony Blair... but he's still elected ONLY because of his economic policies and success... it's the same thing with President Musharraf... all the Pakistani Generals have been popular for their economic harmony that they usually bring to the nation By the Will of Allah Amighty. Any other questions?
I'll ask you one. Why is the democratic Hindustan one of the most poorest nations in the world which still relies on charities in this day and age from all over the world? What do Hindustan people elect their leaders for?

So according to you its okay that Pakistanis have sold out their moral obligations for economic success gained by aligning with the US, but would like Afghans to live in rotting poverty and should kick americans out and not reap economic success themselves?

Pakistan is independent and Afghanistan is under occupation, ruled by a Government/President hand-picked by the Americans.
Offcourse the Americans only went there to dig a pipeline from Central Asia through Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Pakistan offcourse didn't have any of these plans but when the Americans pointed their nukes at Pakistan, Pakistan fell in line but that doesn't mean, every Pakistan loves the Americans... Do you really think Pakistanis would like a Pakistani President installed by America if the nation was invaded? Offcourse not, there will be an insurgency against the Americans like never seen one before in history. That's what the Afghans are doing.

Please find sources for your allegations of:
1) A viable pipeline.
2) Americans threatening Pakistan with nukes.
3) Proof that the Afghan elections were in some way tainted to keep Karzai in power.
If you can't prove what say, then it is just so much crap isn't it?
And PLEASE do not give me the universal excuses, ie "everybody knows its true", "the CIA and Mossad and RAW are behind everything.". Deal in facts or shut up.
