Just as its wrong to abduct, kill and dump Baloch’s, the retaliation against poor laborers is equally wrong.

Baloch separatists regularly kill poor non-Baloch laborers. Some condemning them now only because they were pressed to. Not a sexy cause.

Totally muted response to multiple BLA/BRA bombing of passenger trains, killing of teachers, and poor manual laborers.

Much like LeJ, BLA/BRA ask ppl for their ID cards to identify their background. Earlier, laborers from Lasbella were freed. Others kill

- Many of those who speak out against kill & dump, kidnapping of Baloch activists/militants are courageous. But tend to ignore BLA/BRA crimes.

- No Twitter protest vigils after these attacks on passenger rail in Balochistan. The wealthy don’t travel by train.

Can someone explain to me what the situation in Balochistan is currently?
Re: 20 laborers killed in Balochistan
better than PPP’s regime but still not normal. the government should try open up dialog with militants to sort out the issue if possible.
Re: 20 laborers killed in Balochistan
Absolutely heartbreaking scenes from the funerals of the martyrs are being shown on electronic media. The youngest victim was only 19 years old. Every single victim was the sole breadwinner for his large poverty stricken families. I wouldn’t have known the extent of sheer tragedy of this incident if it wasn’t for electronic media covering the funerals.
Rest assured, there won’t be any fancy candle light vigil by the civil society to mourn and ‘raise awareness’ over this ethnic cleansing of Balochistan. The victims were just too poor and rural (and Muslims) to deserve any extra attention. Pathetic ‘news sites’ like Dawn won’t hire bloggers and columnists to write the usual self pitying articles on this tragedy to self admittedly fight a cause or two.
Dawn and it’s handful of readers are so absorbed in this whole Aman ki Asha bullsht that I’ve heard the Baloch minister on record naming RAW as the strategic helps and funders of this terrorism in Pakistan, but the stupid newspaper once again imposes selective self imposed censorship and distorts the actual quote by inserting the word ‘enemy’ (to please it’s Indian readers) while the Minister clearly says RAW/India.
This substandard piece of sorry journalism is apparently the voice of so called educated liberal hippies in Pakistan? Now we know which groups also needs bit more ‘education’ in proper institutions so they can do their jobs properly.
Honestly, reading Dawn is like reading Pakistani version of Murdoch press.

Did they attack Sindhis too? Interesting…
Oh btw, did this attack happen before or right after Pakistan decided not to obey its Arab masters?

Definitely sick minds, but question is did this project have any Baluch laborers?
Re: 20 laborers killed in Balochistan
The massacre of 20 innocent construction workers again proves that these ruthless and barbaric terrorists will stop at nothing to achieve their agenda. Unfortunately, this is not the first time they’ve targeted innocent people in their bid to spread fear and chaos. We’ve witnessed several inhumane acts of terror in recent times. The need of the hour is to stand united against the growing threat of terrorism in the region. Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of the victims’ during this difficult time. We recognize that the Pakistani security forces are working hard to restore peace in the country, and this counter attack clearly shows that Pakistani authorities will not let these enemies of peace push ahead without any consequences. The U.S. and Pakistan share a common stance against terrorism, and it is our wish and desire to see peace prevail throughout Pakistan. At the end of the day, we cannot have a safe and secure region without a safe and secure Pakistan.
