Re: 20 Beauty Tips Every Woman Should Know!!!!!!!!!!
lol, were you planning one explaining any of these for people who might be interested? Kind of vague one-liners, aren't they?
Here's what i know from experience
1.Out of shaving cream? Use conditioner instead for a nourishing, smooth shave. Never shaved in my life. Waxing is the way to go, lasts waaayy longer.
Use ice water to help your nails dry faster. Actually works. Just get a bowl of cold water, dip your nail with nail polish once half dry, my colleague does this all the time.
Make any lipstick matte with loose powder and a tissue. Apply lipstick, take a tissue paper, separate the layers till you have only one ply left. Hold tissue against lips and blot loose powder over it with a brush. voila, matte lips.
Heat your eyelash curler with a blow dryer before using for longer-lasting curl. I'm going to have to try this.
Scrub away flaky lips with a DIY lip scrub made of coconut oil and brown sugar. I prefer my trusted mixture of white sugar and olive oil, coconut oil has too much smell. Take one part sugar and two parts olive oil (less oil if you want more of an exfoliating effect) It gets all the dead skin off and leaves it moisturized.
Hold a business card behind your lashes when applying mascara to prevent it from getting on your lids. Never needed to do this but it sounds like it may work
Fill in your lips with lip liner before applying lipstick to make it last longer. True. It also helps the color from bleeding out of the lip line.
Use hand lotion to smooth on-the-go flyaways. Or hair spray works just as well without making your hair greasy. Never really tried the lotion bit.
Sleep on your back to avoid puffy eyes in the morning. That stuff is just genetic and also depends on how much water retention is going on in your body. However, sleeping on your back does make some difference, not a lot but some.
Fake a nose job using bronzer. True. Contouring and bronzing is the way to go. Do it right and it makes a world of difference. I have a thin face so i've never really bothered with it.
Braid your hair at night for beachy waves in the AM. True. Not just braiding. You have to braid your hair and then LIGHTLY spray with water so the braids really set in. The light spray of water dries within a few minutes. When you wake up, and untie the braids, it's beautiful but a pain to sleep in if you like to let your hair lose while sleeping like i do.
Use bronzer to make your face look slimmer. we've already been over this, see above
Get a dewy glow by mixing moisturizer in with your foundation. This mixture makes a similar product like a CC or BB cream. I do this frequently. It makes your foundation sheer for a light coverage but also gives a nice glow.
Use lip balm as the perfect stand-in brow gel. Never done it, but i think it may work, or hair spray on your fingers works just as well...again, never needed it.
Flip and spray your bobby pins for better hold. This works very well.
Use invisible lip liner to keep your lip color from streaking. Seen women do this, it leaves an odd whiteness or lightness around the lips, you're going to have to probably practice a lot to get this right.
Use a toothbrush and hairspray to smooth flyaways. again, been over this :)
Connect the dots for perfect eyeliner every time. dashes ( longer ones -------- ) make it easier than dots. Back when i was learning, i would make long dashes. Once you practice enough, it's easy to do in one stroke :)
Use a tea bag to fix a broken nail. how exactly does one do this?
Make your ponytail look longer and fuller by using two elastics. Gather your hair like a pony tail and separate it into two. One half has all the hair from your crown to the middle of the head and the other half has hair from the bottom half to the nape of the neck. First tie the pony with the bottom half and secure. Then tie a pony with the top half, so that the hair coming down covers the elastic on the bottom half. smooth through. Works very nicely.

Oh no, please don't get me wrong. I wasn't making fun of you. I was simply stating that you have written one line facts and didn't explain how to use them because quite a few people would need explanation. Which is why i explained each of your points. My intention was not to make fun but to add further.
