Pakistan is among those countries that recognize Palestine as a state. Pakistani people recognize Palestinians as a nation.
Perhaps I should've used the phrase 'determination of the final state of Palestine' instead of 'establishment of an independent Palestinian state'. Anyhow, it depends upon your perspective. If you look at the situation from American or European point of view, you would prefer the phrase I used earlier. But if you look at the situation from the perspective of those countries that have already accepted Palestine as a state, you'd be talking about final state solution. Still, you may not like to call Palestine fully independent as it is under occupation.

Seriously! Gaza was a test case, sort of step-1 towards the possibility of the independent Palestinian state. So far Palestinian people have failed misreably. They elected Hamas thus pushing their own state for many many years.
It may be prudent for Pakistan to go ahead and recognize Israel now and then work with Israel to provide security at the border of Israel and Palestine. This type of help will ensure Israel's safety, thus increasing the chances for Palestinian state's long term survival.

I don’t hate anyone but I want people to live in peace and that means letting go of genocidial notions towards the state of Israel and understanding history instead of letting conspiracy theories and speculation make judgemental claims.

I just threw that out to give people a more difference of opinion
but in regards to the foundation of Israel, it was founded almost 60 years ago, so all the facts are in their place where as the Mumbai bombings are recent and its fine to look at things from different viewpoints
