Please suggest top must see attractions in Dubai, keeping in mind kid friendly stuff. We are headed to Pakistan in late March and possibly doing a stopover in Dubai for 2 nights as it is only $200 more.
I have heard great things about desert safari, but we can not do that since we hAve a 16 month old. Any other worthwhile attravtions?
Also what are good budget friendly hotels?

Dubai mall: Loads of things for a little kid. Aquarium, zoo in there. Kidzania, skating, and fountain show. Plus Burj and it's glass floor is right there too.

Since yo'ure going in March you can possibly do the bus tour too, but not sure how kid friendly that would be.

Do visit the miracle garden & global village as well!
Apart from that if you have time travel in an Abra or explore Dubai's culture by visiting the old souqs. There are also dome great restaurants in Dubai that you may enjoy dining at! Visit cobone.com or groupon.ae for deals around town

I definitely recommend the old souks esp if you have older kids and for yourself too as the other stuff is good but has a western touch but this is authentic Arab.
