Pakistan and China stand by each other on all issues: Aziz Friday, April 20, 2007
CHENGDU: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Thursday called the joint Sino-Pak venture of manufacturing JF-17 Thunder aircraft a “flagship of Pak-China friendship” which would strengthen the defence ties between the two countries.
During his visit to the Chengdu Aircraft Design and Resource Institute (CATI) and Chengdu Air-manufacturing Company (CAC), the PM expressed satisfaction over the pace of development of the “modern and potent” combat aircraft. He was briefed about the capabilities of the aircraft, its design, production phases and future plans.
Aziz said induction of JF-17 aircraft into the Pakistan Air Force would enhance its capability. He was informed that two more aircraft would arrive in Pakistan in July and another four in December this year.
The PM was told that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra personnel were being trained in China. …
Alhamdu’lillah. This should bring the number of JF-17 Thunder aircrafts in Pakistan Air Force to 8 this year.
The only country in the region to have it’s own indigenously developed fighter aircrafts inducted into it’s air force, way ahead of Hindustan’s Lighter Combat Aircraft and Iran’s IAMI Shafaq.

Besides, the only country to get the aircraft(pakistan) from another country (china), while the other country (china) itself is not willing to use that aircraft. PLAAF is not at all showing any interest in buying it......:D and they are using you guys to make money out of it. How bad it can be?...they get money to develop that aircraft from you guys and in the end sell it also to you guys.....:D . Save and make money from both ends. And it is them who get valuable experiene of building them.
PS....LCA limited series production has already begun and extra GE-404 orders have already been placed. whatever problems are there with caveri engine, foreign help has been saught for that.

We keep telling the Hindustanis that it's a Pakistani aircraft. If the Chinese are interested, then they'll have to negotiate a deal with Pakistan.

America is cutting down on the number of F-22 A Raptors it had originally ordered. Does that mean it's a rubbish aircraft now?
China needs J-XX and Pakistan needs JF-17 Thunder. Who told you Pakistan and China have exactly the same needs?

that's what i said...:D . Take money from you to develop it and sell it again to you ONLY to make money out of it. Otherwise, why would they do all this when there is no need for them??....
PS....J-XX is far away...even prototype is also not ready
