When news of the Blackwater rampage broke back in September, I opined that it could be the incident that really opened some eyes. But I forgot. The vicitims were Islamic, so to the U.S. legacy media, the U.S. government, and many Americans, the response has been: ho, hum. Another day in paradise.
Perhaps this incident is different. The images of the bloody car, combined with the fact that the women who were killed were Christians, might just actually work in favor of provoking a true investigation this time.
