how about going to florida or hawaii for a couple of days? first anniversary is always so special.. do a getaway to your favorite place/city =)
we've been to south beach and will probably be going there next year. plus we just came back from a vacation so im pretty sure he will only be able to get off for a day or two from work. i dont wanna go far away either so i guess we'll see what we can do. theres so much to do around ny anyway. maybe i can convince him to go bungee jumping or white water rafting.

umm, i think i'm the guy in my relationship. We have like 10 different anniversary's...when we first kissed...when we had our official "haan"....when we first met...list goes on and on...and he somehow remembers ALL of them and i dont....YET, he doesn't remember saying I love you to me the first time he actually did...?
one if by land is really cute...so is MEGU and top of the tower...try those.

wow. so many babies on the first anni.
sumo, i'm in favour of the trip, but if you dont have too many days off, you could always go down to niagara. cross the border into the canadian side. spend a couple of days relaxing and taking in the beauty. there's a whole bunch of touristy (marine land, the view) and romantic things (fine dining, gorgeous hotels) to do there as well as bungee jumping (the bungee jumping is in buffalo), and helicopter rides over the falls!

Is it bad if i cant remember what we gave each other? I do remember that it was a Sunday so we dressed up (I in a sari and him in a suit) after breakfast (homemade pancakes i think?). We went to get our portraits done, on a whim and they hang in our bedroom today. Then we went to dinner at a romantic rest. and then to a movie. It was just plain old stuff but felt really special, i still remember. Oh, and i made dessert at home too.
I think i got him an engraved key chain but cant remember what he got me.

my 1st wedding anniversary passed about 15 days ago and my husband gave me this gorgeous black & white diamond ring - along with an amazing bouquet of flowers and then we went to Boston for the weekend.. I gave him a designer laptop bag (he desperately needed one) and i bought him some new shirts and stocked his wardrobe for the summer..
was pretty sweet..
