Prior is frustrating me more. Why dont you get it over with, all you need is 1 shot. He takes a single of the first ball and lets Finn face 5 balls.

As soon as Finn was on crease Butt should've placed attacking field, I think he was already in defensive mode trying to contain runs instead of taking wicket. Finn has already wasted 46 deliveries while Prior keeps smashing Kaneria and yet he is bowling.
No really effort from Pakistan. Pakistan wanting Prior to finish his century and then the delcaration. With this minset of Pakistan, England should not declare and frustrate them more.

One thing is certain. Kaneria needs to sit out. He's been terrible. 70+ runs in 11 overs. That is sad.
When one of the world's worst player (Finn) can play you top spinner with no difficulty, it doesn't mean that the batsmen has improved his batting. It means that that your so called leading spinner is now crap and its time for someone new.
Pakistan wants to play minimum overs tonight hence the slower bowlers.
This is probably a wrong approach in my opinion. It may be true in a lot of cases, but here in English conditions and with Pakistan batting, it is actually better for Pakistan to play today in these batting friendly conditions and score some runs rather starting tomorrow in the gloomy bowling friendly conditions.

The conditions are not batting friendly. It is overcast and the lights are on. Pakistan is bowling with an older ball which would not be the case for England.

PS: Well done Salman Butt as a captain and Danish Kaneria as a bowler…Kaneria conceded 171 runs for just 1 wicket…

The team that hasn't scored past 300 in a long time certainly won't get past 430. Absolutely pathetic.

Well, I should have said that conditions right now are comparatively better than early morning conditions. Anyway, doesn't really matter as Pakistan batting can crumble in any condition.

Any predictions on the runs of defeat? I am predicting at least 200 runs. That shows my lack of faith in these bunch of idiots. Only Pak batsmen to have average of 35 is Shoaib Malik, that goes to show you just how bad these batsmen are.

I don't care if they lose this game which by the way they will lose. But atleast show some spirit, guts, and temperament. Show that they are there for a purpose and not just to go down like dominoes everytime.
