Muralitharan to Ojha, out Caught by Jayawardene!! The time has finally come - mark it on your diaries - the date and time - 22/07/10 at 1:54 PM, when Murali got his 800th Test wicket! The same familiar combination of Muralitharan and MJ! So many times they have done it, what a moment! it was tossed up on off, Ojha pushed forward, it gripped away as Ojha looked like opening the face of the bat at the last moment, it took the edge and MJ did well to move to his left and take a sharp catch at 1st slip as it seemed to be dying on him, Muralitharan and the whole of SL erupt in joy!
Before match Indian’s claimed that they will stop Murli to complete his 800th wkts but he did

Harbhajan to Dilshan, SIX!!, Take that! that is the way to finish a game, comes down the track, picks the doosra, launches it miles over long on, went a long way back, SL have thumped India by 10 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the series, Dilshan raises his arms in triumph, so does Sanga in the dressing room.

Congratulations to SL for a huge win. They batted better and bowled better.
India's bowling was below par and their batting did not stand up to the task. What is witht his bimari of "starting series slowly". I hear this crappp everytime. Doesn't make sense.
Congratulations to Murali. In the last 5 years we have lost 3 legendary spinners Warne Kumble and Murali. Big loss to world cricket.

Murli is a legend. He took 8 wickets to complete his 800 in a great fashion. We will miss quality spin probably for a long long time.
First test between Ind and Sri lanka had some real quality Cricket. From great batting, bowling, fielding and strategy.
Indian bowling does not have teeth. Ishant was the only one putting effort but did not get any support from his counterparts.
India is far from done. They will come back hard in the next test match, but since Sri lankan batting line up is in full flow and Malinga is bowling his sublime best, it is going to be another exciting test match.

Man.. true that.. the next match should be very interesting... how does the Indian team fight back? They usually play well after being pushed around in the opening game of a test series.
