First… I CANNOT believe we are playing SL again. How often can two countries play each other? This is getting ridiculous!! I am sooooo bored of Ind vs SL. I’m much more interested in watching Pak vs Aus and Pak vs Eng than same old Ind vs SL.

On the other hand.. this is the last time we will see Murali in action. He is one of the greatest bowlers of all time and I’d say one of top 3 spinners ever. Best ever off spinner. He has been instrumental in SL’s growth in the last 10-12 years. And to top it off… he is an absolute gentlemen. The way he carried himself through the whole chucking saga was fantastic. He always put himself out there “Here I am… do whatever tests you want on me.. lab tests.. field tests.. I’ll do it”.. all with an amazing attitude.

He is 8 wickets away from a record 800 wickers!! Can he get there? Surely SL will be preparing spinning tracks for Mural’s farewell.

Not sure why Murali chose to retire after the first test in Galle. Why could he not play the whole series and then retire

agreed... I cant find any reason online on why he would play only 1 test. He should've played the whole series. This would've guaranteed him the 800 wickets.. and also he should try to win a series for SL as a signoff.. not just 1 test... now its pressure on him to take 8 wickets.. India has been playing him pretty well recently.. I think he will find it hard.. unless the wicket is an absolute turner..

Best of luck to Murli. I hope he gets those 8 wickets to get to 800 wickets. He deserves it.

In last couple of years we've seen so many legendary cricketers Like Gilly, Inzi, and McGrath retire. Now we're stuck with nincompoops like Farhat.

I hope the Indian batters smack Murali around one last time.. and then he picks up some tailenders and gets his 800 wkts !

True that Ehsan.. only way they are going to win this if a bundle of wickets fall tomorrow morning and then they bowl well again in the 2nd innings. Would be a great chance for Murali to get to 800.

However my money is still on a draw.

What a good knock by Sehwag again today? At SR of 86.7 and 85 not out !! Sehwag simply amazes me. Hopefully he can get to his 100 and maybe do an other one of his 200-300s! No other blaster from ODI and T20 has been able to convert the aggression in Tests as he has.

Big test for Yuvraj tomorrow. Surely this series has to be his last chance. Stand up to the plate or move aside fatty !!

Sehwag makes 50 off 63 balls in a friggen test match and commentators say "this has been a control innings by Sehwag" .. haahaHAA !!

Next ball he comes down the track and smacks murali straight down the ground for a big 6 !!!
