PT I am talking about Bevan, yes he was out first ball but I dont think he touched the ball.

I reckon that but at first I thought you mixed Bevan with Gilchrist. Ehsan bhai, I saw the replay of Bevan's dismissal over and over again. Ball did touch to Bevan's bat and went in the end saved hands of the wicket-keeper. It was an inside-edge. If there was any doubt, there should have been talk about it at least in the commentatory box. Don't you think?
Anyway, comin' back to the Match, it just shows how Aussies dominated throughout the game. Andrew Symonds proven again with useful and patience inning. First, he scored a century on a fast pitch and now remained not out on a slow one hitting marvellous 91 knock. This proves how capable he could be whenever Aussies find themselves in trouble. Darren Lehmann supported his partner, Symonds to reached the target of 212. In the end, Sri Lankans did manage to restrict Aussies but I think it was a good total to defend, particularly on a pitch like of Port Elizabeth. You gotta have wickets in your hands under any circumstances. In other words, make partnerships than thinking about gettin' fours and sixes.
No blame on weather, please. Sri Lanka's score was low compare to Aussies at 38.1 overs. Bret Lee got smashed all over but then ripped apart Sri Lankans battin' order. 160.1 km/p ball and there goes Marvan's off stump on a accurate line and length! Jaysuriya got out on a backward square leg, tryin' to pull the short ball of MacGrath. Bad Idea! That was the poor shot, I'd say. Did you guys watch how De Silva got out? Oh boy, direct hit on the stumps and there goes De Silva run out. Andy Bichel targeted him and as De Silva got out, immediately, there was a comment from Mark Taylor:
Andy Bichel has won the game for the Aussies.
Though, it's sad to see De Silva's career ended this way. He will remain a Ever-Green Cricketer!
World Cup Trophy awaits Aussies to lift it up!

*Symonds helps the Australian's post a competitive score of 212-7 from their 50 overs with a superb knock of 91 not out. *

Brett Lee is really fired-up for Austalia ripping through the Sri Lanka batting with some devestating quick bowling.

Ricky Ponting catches Sri Lanka's Avishka Gunawardene, out for only one run from another Lee delivery.

Lee and the rest of the Australia team are forced back into the dressing room as the rain pours down at Port Elizabeth.

Umpires David Shepherd and Koetzen confer and the match is called off, Australia winning on the Duckworth/Lewis method.
So...
Thus far my prediction that Australia will snatch this World Cup is coming true.
Leaving patriotism aside, IMO they are the most talented and deserving side :)

Bichel has flourished after being given the chance to shine.
**The Sri Lankans should really thank Australia for giving them a chance in the big semi-final at Port Elizabeth.
If the Aussies had wanted to win early enough to spend the afternoon on the beach they might have tried opening both the batting and the bowling with Andy Bichel. **
His two previous experiences on this ground were more spectacular than his efforts on Tuesday, but again he proved his immense worth to the Aussies.
He is a lot more than just a dogged bits-and-pieces cricketer. He is now producing world-class performances on a regular basis.
**Despite batting at nine, Bichel’s 19 not out against Sri Lanka gave him a tournament average in excess of 100.
He found batting far easier than the three batsmen who had preceded him in the order and helped Andrew Symonds collect enough runs in the last six overs to take Australia to a decent score. **
After the match, Australia captain Ricky Ponting said: **"If you ask him he’ll tell you he’s the best number nine in world cricket. He’s taken his chance with both hands.
"He wasn’t in our side at the start of the tournament but every game he’s played he’s got better and better.
"You can treat him as a batsman really. He can hit some great cricket shots.
"If you’re in a bit of trouble, you can rely on him to bat out a few overs and, if you need some quick runs, he can hit the ball over the top.
“The perfect lofted on-drive for six he despatched off the luckless Pulasthi Gunaratne in the penultimate over was reminiscent of some of the shots he hit in his crucial 64 against New Zealand here.” **
And while his bowling did not reach the heights of his brilliant seven for 20 against England, the real hammer blow for Sri Lanka came seconds after he bowled his first ball.
Sri Lanka were already on the rocks at 51 for four after 13 overs, but Aravinda de Silva was still there and the team had chosen to play eight batsmen, so there was cover.
Kumar Sangakkara was on strike and dropped the ball off his legs to short mid-wicket.
**De Silva, now 37, does not have either the longest or the fastest legs in world cricket.
Bichel, immediately sensing an opportunity, picked up the ball, turned and released in one swift movement.
His aim was sure, the stumps were broken and de Silva did not even wait for the third umpire’s verdict. **
The golfer Nick Faldo once declared that he would like to dig up the 11th hole at Augusta and take it back to Britain.
Andy Bichel may feel the same about St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth.
His best career one-day score and bowling figures were both claimed in this tournament and on this ground, in those stellar performances against England and New Zealand.
And now he has been a key part of another polished team effort that has propelled Australia to the World Cup final.
Australia deserves this world cup. They are unbeaten in this world cup.
better beat india...:D
