In Bahrain and nearby Gulf countries, the first Roza will be on Saturday which mean today on Friday, traveeh will be offered. When is 1st day of Ramzan in your Country?

I know Toronto announced it for Saturday but I’m waiting for a more local confirmation.

Good thread. It was today here in US, Canada and Mexico. Now there are three parallel systems that decide Moon here.
(1) Those who go with Saudis
(2) Those who go with the scientific calendar calculated locally.
(3) Those who actually do moon sighting.
Alhamdulillah, all three are celebrating 1st Ramadhan today. I hope it says the same way on Eid.

Start of Roza i.e., first day of Ramzan subject to seeing ‘Moon’, and if ‘moon’ not seen then ‘Shawwal’ month to be completed. Isn’t it is simple way to start first roza?
