Its one of those times when I feel a few losses would help India in the long run.
The team needs some serious re-structuring.
Gangu obviously needs to go, so we start playing with 11 players.
The middle order is also in need for some re-look.
And we need some hard hitting all-rounders (on the lines of Razzaq) for one-day matches.
This team’s composition for this match leaves me wondering - what were the selectors thinking.
I am not sure why Pathan was dropped in favor of Nehra ( Pathan is an accomplished batsman who can hit some big ones). His presence today would have certainly helped.
Has Dravid refused to keep wickets? If yes, that is unfortunate because we are already one batsman short(thanks to Gangu).
And why was Kumble dropped for the series in favor of Murli Karthik.
Bowlers like Karthik will be taken to the cleaners by tulley-baajs like Afridi/Razzaq or even Inzy.

Exactly..We should keep reminding the selectors that Ganguly is just going through a rough patch
