Are you saying it was our openers who won the games so far? I don’t know what M Yousuf, Younis and Inzamam have been doing for last 8 years. Oh wait, you only watch WC games so, yeah our middle order is not good at all.

You dont they try Khurram Manzoor instead as opener. He has shown real promise and hopefully he is not going to be worse than the current lot of 4 that we keep trying back and forth. Its time to move on.
Mohammad Hafeez 48 matches and an Batting average of 18.59....Thats pathetic for openers.
Imran Nazir 71 matches and an Batting average of 25.28...Thats pretty bad.
Anything less than 30 for openers is bad. Less than 20 is pathetic and not international cricket standards.

I think Hafeez will get dropped for good after SA series. Similary Butt wil go after India and probably more will get chopped after Aus tour. So we will have a brand new team after Aus tour.

There is only one problem, your team is not even 1/4 of what SA is.
SA is palying with 11 but we play with 10 players only though 11 on board but Agarkar will be playing as Pakistan Batsmen :D

Toothless bowling attack. Got spanked around as I had predicted. Tanveer bowled well except for the one over where he went away for 21, however.

very true and the batting apart from one or two good knocks was n't very convincing either. It seems you can juggle these useless openers around any number of times and try all sorts of new combinations but the result will still be the same 30 odd for 2...pathetic
