Not sure what Azhar could have done in the circumstances apart from bringing the game to a dead halt

not to worry too much nor to read too much into the collapse. Hota hai. Look at Englands innings Cook scored more than 50% of the runs. Nothing much from the rest. as for Bopara a 50 in three innings is not bad, one missed stumping and one plumb LBW against him not given.

I just hope Umar does justice to his talent and plays out the 50 overs. He has the chance and should avail it.

Don't think it is going to happen but for the next game, I would drop both Farhat and Malik
- Open with Asad and Hafeez
- Bat Azhar at #3
- Play Umar Akmal purely as a batsman (his keeping was ordinary today)
- Play Adnan Akmal or Sarfraz as w/k
