Payaam’s mission is to rebuild, reconstruct and regenerate our great nation. One of our goals is to work for the betterment of people’s attitudes towards persons with disabilities and enhance, promote access to their opportunities in health, education and sports sector. By achieving that, much secure and better living conditions for the disabled can be made possible.
Payaam is organizing 1st NWCCT 2008 (National WheelChair Cricket Tournamnet) for the persons with disabilities on the 28th of June, 2008 in Embassy Cricket Ground, Islamabad. The cricket teams of PWD’s will participate from all over Pakistan i.e 5 teams Bolan XI, Chinar XI, Khyber XI, Mehran XI and Ravi XI . All players will perform on the wheelchairs thus making it an event of its own kind. Since most of the disabled persons are still living in isolation and they do not have any access to perform their abilities on the sports field, it will be a great message of hope and happiness for millions of disabled. Since it comes to spreading happiness, it would be a very effective platform for all you to come forward and support us for NWCCT 2008.
