I need some birthday gift ideas for my best friend’s daughter… mA shes turning one and I have no idea what to get for her! Whats a gift that could be appreciated, useful or even a nice keepsake? any ideas would help very much! thanks everyone

Get her a very nice and medium sized piggy bank for her "college fund" Make sure it says college fund or something similar on it. And start it off by putting $20 or $50 in it, whatever you can afford and encourage friends and family to put money in it too! Just an idea.

An album…I saw this at someone’s house and might do it for my friends. It was a digitally printed album full of baby pictures of her children from the time they were born…it was so beautiful. I think Shutterfly does them.
Furniture
Pictures! You could pay for professional portraits for her child. I did this for my 4 year old niece’s first birthday.
Are her ears pierced yet? I gave my one year old niece these beautiful baby studs with tiny little diamonds in them.

I also think gold or money are great gifts and have investment value to it.
For my sons first b-day party I had the spongebob squarepants theme because he loves spongebob. For the cake, I ordered a face cake where I took his cutest picture and made it into a cake. It was the cutest thing ever. We cut the cake and cut everything but his face which for some reason I have saved in my freezer!!!
