Bhool Na Jana Phir Papa Naurus ley kar ghar aana Mazey Mazey ka Sharbat Naurus Mujh Ko Dil Se Hai Pyara
I dont know how many people actually preferred Naurus over Rooh Afza, but this ad certainly took the cake over any Rooh Afza one. There was a little girl singing this jingle to her dad. The girl probably became a celebrity after this, since everyone commented on how cute she was and how much talent she had. Dont know what became of her, most probably it was just a one of stint.
But it worked, as it was hard to find in those days anyone who didnt know this jingle by heart. Some people even commented upon the fact that they knew this little girl. one rumour that I heard was that this girl died in a car accident, around 1984. I do not think this rumour was true, since in Pakistan, most rumours of someone’s death are circulated in order to shock people for no reason.
I think I saw this ad being played till 1990. But towards the end, it was more nauseating that nostalgic. :halo:
Oh God! DaPakiGuy, what memories you've brought back...I'm having a serious nostalgic fit right now :D
I agree the jingle did capture the Pakistani public, as did the ad concept. though nauras never won against rooh afza, it sure found a place to exist against a brand as ancient and larger than life as hamdard ka rooh afza.
I think the jingle was by Server Mosavee. Ah memories...:)
wow...i didnt know it was dat old (though i m not a fan of rooh afza or narus) but i always love the jingles
another one is of state life
"AYE KHUDA HUMARAY ABU SALAMAT RAHAIN..(te ra ree)
AYE KHUDA HUMARAY ABU SALAMAT RAHAaain
le abo nay bema policiy or la kay ami ko di...bla bla..
the point is its fun....lol...i can imagine if my dad was there n i m jumping and singing dis song or dat naurus jingle...I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A SLAP...(i m sure i wont react differently if someone does dat with me...lol)
hehhe...oo i have another one...i do dat mostly wid my mom...whenever i want her to cook something (obviously) she promises to make it tommorow so i always use dat jelly one.
"Ami ami .....AGG SAY :D ".....its a rafan jelly ad
