it works both ways. what about white girls that have “silly fantasies” about marrying guys from far-off, exotic countries? i know plenty of people who think that way. it’s all about perspective.
my dad is from karachi and my mom is from a painfully small city in minnesota- the places couldn’t be more different, but we lived in karachi for over 10 years and did just fine considering the “conditions.” just like there are conditions there, there are conditions here in the states too.
it might sound like a strange situation, but as long as they’re happy who are we to question it?

Gori = non derogatory term with no colonial sub-text, no negative connotations, no narrative of slavery nor subjugation. On the contrary it is seen (wrongly) as a complement or something one can attain to.
Also, 98% of pakistan is “pure asian”. So that homogenisation was kind of silly.

Btw 18 years is a legal age and one can freely exercise his/her will . The only thing that matters is that they are happy .
