i'm sorry but i don't think it's fair for anyone to call the girl foolish or say the guy was just desperate to go overseas. would i ever travel halfway around the world to marry someone i met online? probably not. but unless you've gone around the globe to marry someone from a different culture, don't pass judgement.
she did what she thought was right, as did he. if they're unhappy later, that's their own problem. if they're still happy later on though, what exactly is wrong with that?
