Hi,

I’m 18 weeks pregnant but problem is I don’t feel hungry at all.. I have to force myself to eat at times but at times it comes back out.. Has this happened to anyone before? This is my first pregnancy…

Eating healthy and small portions is the key to a good pregnancy. Try eating an apple or some grapes or any other fruit if you are not really hungry. Try to eat something every 4 hours to ensure that your sugar levels don’t go down. Also, try to drink water, coconut water, barley water, unsweetened juices, buttermilk at regular intervals to ensure that you have sufficient fluid.

This isn’t to scare you but there are quite a few cases of mothers with improper diet during their pregnancy having low weight babies and in some cases, you might see babies with spina-bifida. And don’t ever miss your multi-vitamins and any other dietary supplements that your doctor has prescribed.

Do consult a doctor and get relevant tests done.
