I agree 100%!!! The actions of a few should not be reason to condemn an entire nation. Instead of praying for the hidayat for those who have wronged others or even to ask for 'adl so that the gunah’gaars are punished, to pray for azab on an entire qaum is wrong.
Allah is the grantor of both mercy and justice - pray to him to punish the gunah’gaars and not an entire nation.
