The conversion of Persians to Islaam was gradual and didn't happen straight after the Muslim conquest which shows they chose it of their own will... Islaam was well established in the Subcontinent before any Mughal or Muslim king/soldier set foot there unlike what your Pundits tell you... The Mughals did many unIslamic things, they might have misused the concept of Jizyah and taxed people heavily for their own desires but you can't hold Islam/Muslims accoutable for that, in fact they weren't even concerned with spreading Islam but their own enjoyment be that Hindu princesses as wives, alcohol or fancy buildings... Muslims ruled India for so long, had Muslims forced you to convert they could have done it quite easily, after all you are Baniyas.
Exactly best example is of egypt a complete christina country but over the years they are only around 2% (approx) of Coptic christians which mounts to 14 million. But just imagine, 14 million people still alive and not converted by sword thats really bad.
Secondly this issue about jizya, had to instilled, Islam when it conquered any city it was only for the first time the sword was used otherwise it was all peace and teaching of this great religion.
Today they say Islam is converting, forcefully i feel sad for such narrow minded chaps. Well just imagine the faith of people in spain, do they ever know in spain there was equality during Muslim rule no was there is a particular spanish word, I have forgotten.
Then with Matrubhoomi as USR, is taken over i better stay away as it will increase the pressure on you with so many responses and you are handling it all alone.

Naheen bhai... I'm just a lay person, no scholar... Just a BBCD (Brit Born Confused Desi). I'm not very knowledgable but I say what I know of the Deen.. It is through Allaah's grace that I love Islaam so deeply, in my misguided days I've even tried apostatising to make my beliefs and sinful lifestyle compatable with each other but it is Allaah's grace which put so much love in my heart for our religion that I couldn't deny Islaam even if I wanted to... Ham to sirf Allaah ke ek gunehgaar bandey hain, ham pe Allaah ka Karam hai, Mehr hai unn ki, or as they would say in your country my dear bro "Kirpa"... There is no greater Ne'mat for us than our Deen.
