AOA,
my 17 month old is not walking yet. she did start crawling when she was 13/14 months old…very late…but now also stopped doing that. she is not confident. she has cousins around her who are faster than her and she feels cautious, as she thinks she might fall.
i am trying message for the legs. she is not standing stable yet.
are there more children who are delayed with walking.
its so stressfull as the in laws alwys ask about her and the first thing they ask is she walking… really fed up with answering their questions…

Don't worry. My nephew start to sit when he was 10 months n start working when he was 18 months n mashallah now he runs so fast , it's difficult to get him sometimes..
Encourage her to walk n always hold her hard n try to walk her around.
Have you seen a doctor yet? Better consult a dr too..
We had seen dr for our nephew and was told that some kids start late but they did all physical test for him and he was perfectly fine

i did see a doc. they referred to physiotherapist and is now on a waiting list. the doc said that she thinks its a slightly low muscle tone. but obviously i want to try myself and keep encourage her, otherwise i will be waiting for the appointment. its been 6 weeks already and still no appointment. the waiting list is very long
