Just saw on PTV Global news that 16th PTV awards are tonight.
Looks like all the show-biz big wigs will be there.
Does anybody know if they will be shown live?
If not, when will the recording be shown on Global.

I don't know if they update the guide for US so we won't know when they put it on here. I have noticed some clips in between shows but no time advertised.

i saw bits of it last night. all the grannies, meera, resham, etc had escaped from their cares home and were shaking their walking sticks in the air like they just dont care.

It was aired in the US from 9:30 pm East Coast time till 12:30 am.
The idiots were showing the coming soon clips on the same day they aired it without any mention of the time and I missed the start.
They are repeating now on Sunday starting at 11:00 am ET.
The tribute for Ali-Zeb by Meera and Javed Sheikh was nice.

it wasn't bad actually, certain dignity to it with people like rahat/sahira kazmi around. a very moving tribute to the recently departed icons even the dance numbers were low key and watchable, done on our own songs, no wild thumkas on bollywood numbers thank god! very good effort i must say, loved 'azizi's' little skit hahah especially right in front of the PM, must applaud our PM for having a sense of humour and allowing a little comic breather even at the politicians behalf. overall, more watchable than the lux or hum tv awards of late. and i think the awards were pretty fair too, my fav play 'kalmoohi' won and so did sania saeed for her role in it, totally justified!

I couldnt watch the whole show just the meera jee’s perfomance and shahida minnie sumthing…i love the way her makeup was done soooo my kind…ARABIC:wub: Amazing!
