^because it is in India and mostly the govt had to take necessary steps to curb terrorism. Lack of proper enforcement lead to Innocents getting killed and innocents getting imprisoned. Not all may be innocents. But putting away even one innocents itself is a grave crime. But we dont live in an ideal world and hence such acts always happen.

Kashmiris revolted because India took over their state without even bothering to consult them. And then proceeded to deny them their basic democratic rights by fixing virtually every election in the state for the next 40 years.
I love how easily you bargain away the basic human rights of the Kashmiri people in the name of "security"...so typical of India's colonial mentality in Kashmir.

i am not going there.. we will just go in circles. Kashmir presently is an integral part of India and in near future. It wil be governed as such. Those who feel that they dont get their rights in Kashmir can go to "azad kashmir" or else where in India.
Many states in India during independence joined the union with duress but after that all of the state worked for the benefit of the country. Kashmir is nothing special. Just because a part of it is occupaid by Pakistan does not make it special.

You're right...only in India would 16,000 people be left to rot in jail for years on end, with no evidence and no trials, simply because they're Kashmiri Muslims.
As for the rest of your post...I've already addressed those nonsensical ideas numerous times in previous posts.
After so many years of terrorist failures only 16000 are behind bars. Indians have a very lazy police system.
On the contrary these people never talk about Muslim Kashmiris who are making money and have established huge shopping malls all over India.
And in any of their theocratic state even many more people of their own faith remain behind bars just for nothing but for them ...no noise.
And off course.....truth is always non-sensical as per their ethics.

I swear to god, this hindu engineer once told me "we need to kill all kashmiris, we have enough ppl in UP to repopulate kashmir"

kashmir has no god given right to separate and untill the god give them the right it will be whatever u wanted to call a part of India. Period. U can weep, cry shed crocodile tears and abet terrorism even then it will be part of India.

30,000 refugees sitting in Pakistan since 1989-90, thousands more displaced within the state/the rest of India...and you claim there hasn't been a major dislocation? And we're not even talking about the tens of thousands killed and/or abducted, and the thousands more who were raped by your soldiers and countermilitants.

The Kashmir movement is older than both India and Pakistan...and until there is a resolution that is satisfactory to the Kashmiri people themselves, there isn't going to be any lasting peace in the region. India & Pakistan can't just "negotiate" away our future without even consulting us...it's that kind of arrogance that created this whole mess to begin with.
