Re: 16,000 Kashmiris Languishing in Indian Jails on Dubious Charges
And like I said, its foolish to assume that voting in state elections somehow equals a desire to ultimately remain Indian citizens. People are just trying to make the best of a miserable situation by trying to minimize the corruption in the Indian colonial administration.
Funny how you completely disregard both polls that were actually taken on the issue, and choose to interpret your own biased meaning into other data. I guess basic intellectual honesty is too much to expect.
The issue here isn’t whether or not there was a militancy, Einstein. We were talking about the government’s role in building up mass hysteria among the Pandits and sparking the exodus. Nice try though.
You people are absurd. Your own police reports indicate something that goes against the propaganda you’ve apparently been spoonfed since childhood, so you refuse to believe it.
Spare me your colonial condescencion.
Like it or not, such oppression can never last forever. All imperial powers were initially convinced that they would never be forced to leave their colonial possessions. But all of them eventually did…and like it or not, it will eventually be India’s turn to quit Kashmir.
