Bhutto had started arming the jehadis in 75, and Benazir completed the experiment under the able leadership of Naseer ullah Babar by combining militant groups and forming what we know today as Taliban.
In 1974, when King Zahir Shah’s government was overthrown by the king’s cousin, Daoud Khan, in a military coup, Hekmatyar was freed from prison. He then left the country and took refuge in Pakistan’s bordering city of Peshawar together with Burhanuddin Rabbani, Qazi Muhammad Amin Waqad and other jihadi leaders. The radical leaders continued to work as members of the Muslim Youths Movement; they later, however, divided into various factions and parties. Strongly backed by the Pakistani government of Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Hekmatyar established Hezb-e-Islami Afghanistan in 1976. Later in 1979, another clash between Hekmatyar and jihadi leader Mawlawi Khalis evenly divided Hezb-e-Islami into two factions. Khalis established another faction called Hezb-e-Islami’s Khalis faction.

You are a big liar. Link what you are saying. Ex ISI chief had already accepted its creation.
Have you read what you have posted??? These news items have nothing to do with ZAB or BB.
it is all there if you want to read it. its not the 80's and 90's...there's plenty of information on the internet if one is willing to find out. unfortunately ppp like some of its die-hard supporters is living in the past, hence reaching new lows each passing day.

You have brought this not me. Still I don't see names of ZAB or BB anywhere in above articles.

Have you got anything to add on the topic being discussed in this thread?
You read with your open eyes what you are writing. That organization was finished in three years, when your malown Punjabi dictator took over and created demons then. I don’t know what the hack are you talking about?
When Hezb-e-Islami was created in 1977 ZAB was already gone. kuch sharam karo
i know that it’s futile discussing with you. The links are there, you want to believe them or not it’s up to you. Bhutto himself was a dictator, not much better than the ‘Punjabi dictators’.

It’s not funny, Bhutto had dictatorial tendencies. Being a minority leader in 71 he got to rule the country. PPP could win only in Sindh and Punjab. In nwfp and Balochistan it was NAP and its allies who formed the government. He did what he could to form his own governments in those two provinces within two years. The way he dealt with his opponents in Punjab was no different.
