This reminds me.... my father once denied a surgery on the operation bed in Aga Khan Hospital when he didn't see the doctor (Dr. Talathi was his name I believe) he scheduled the surgery with. He kept asking for the doctor and they kept telling him he will be here shortly. He refused to take anesthetics before he saw the doctor. Guess what, he never showed up. My dad and all the family members went home without the surgery. My bro did family practice there years ago so he was able to make some calls from the U.S and get thing shuffled around. Some people ended up getting fired over this. The doctor personally called my dad and appologized. Evedently, he didn't even know about the surgery. He did the surgery on a later date.
