Assalamalikum GUPSHUP!

Before anything, I would like to wish you all a Happy Independence Day!

On Behalf of the Transmission team, I’m opening the thread to announce that our 14th August Transmission is ready for your viewing.

This year we took a different approach, and made it easier for everyone to view the content that we, as well as other Gupshup members worked hard to produce. So this year, we compiled everything into a Webpage. With links, to help you navigate through content.

A Special thanks to Nia Khan, she had to catch a flight at 2am, on August 13th, and until the very last minute (even though her packing was far from finished) she was online, uploading and finishing up the content you are about to see.

Another special thanks, to Gizzy…for providing us with storage space, and technical help, which made this operation run smoothly!

Hello Guppies

Happy belated Independence day to all of you.

First of all I would like to thank all of you who visited the website and watched the video. The purpose was to celebrate our indepence day in style and I hope we managed that.

Nia_khan: She was the driving force behind this whole project. Although I was assigned to oversee this whole project, it was her who kept most of us motivated and updated. Her passion and love for her country is commendable.

Crescent: We were struggling technically before he joined us and he is the reason we saw this transmission. He did a tremendous job in such a short span of time. Thank you buddy.

My heartiest thanks to all other team members who contributed in one way or the other. We set ourselves some tasks and did most of them. There were hurdles faced but as it was the first time people from both members and administration collaborated for independence day celebrations. Hopefully we will see more such projects.
