Assalamalikum GUPSHUP!

Before anything, I would like to wish you all a Happy Independence Day!

On Behalf of the Transmission team, I’m opening the thread to announce that our 14th August Transmission is ready for your viewing.

This year we took a different approach, and made it easier for everyone to view the content that we, as well as other Gupshup members worked hard to produce. So this year, we compiled everything into a Webpage. With links, to help you navigate through content.

Each one of us has worked hard to compile the submissions for your viewing pleasure. Our strained and tired eyes, are evidence of our efforts in bringing you this transmission. We Hope you Like it and enjoy it, as much as we did putting it together.

A Special thanks to Nia Khan, she had to catch a flight at 2am, on August 13th, and until the very last minute (even though her packing was far from finished) she was online, uploading and finishing up the content you are about to see.

Another special thanks, to Gizzy…for providing us with storage space, and technical help, which made this operation run smoothly!

Also, thanks to those who have submitted their talented items, for us to hear/see/read and enjoy.

Let me first Thank Allah for allowing me to be part of this project… although I didnt do much :-/

Very well done, folks. Excellent work.

Although being in Pakistan, I am not on a very high speed connection (here the DSL is also a dhabba on the name of DSL), so most likely I will only be able to listen to all the wonderful content once I am back in California end of this month. But just looking at that website, seems a lot of hardwork, planning and dedication has gone into it.
