The independence day this year comes with gloom and a sad picture of Pakistan. Lets pray in this holy month for our country and countrymen. May Allah rid the nation of the evil forces that are combining their efforts to bring this country down. May Pakistan , roll back to prosperity from this time of depression , inshallah.
..but no matter how bad the situation is , we are a zinda dil kaum and we shall continue to look at and hope for a brighter future … lets celebrate 14th August , the day Pakistan came into being .
**Please say a little prayer here , plus , use the national colors to create a food item. It could be something as simple as cucumber and yoghurt decorated to depict the national colors or something more complicated like a cake with national color icing … a week from the 14 August , a winner will be announced **
Lets participate zealously and make this day a special day for us all .
i wont be celebrating at all ... our country is a mess ... disaster after disaster ... there is nothing to celebrate for me inshallah i will spend that time in ibadat and not loose out on the precious time that this month brings along .. i will pray for all the flood victims
I share the feeling Mizzrani :( ... Infact I have been feeling the very same depression.
but have faith... in every fall hides the secret to achieve success.. inshallah the country will get through this. We are celebrating Pakistan, the Pakistan that needs a nation today ... What the nation has done to Pakistan is despicable ... but Pakistan will continue to remain strong inshallah and get out of the mess it is in. Our cheers are for the country , our celebration is to remember the sacrifices of all those who fought for independence. So lets not get our spirits down. May Allah be with us all in this hour of need.
