Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah also took notice of the incident and ordered for strict action to be taken against those who took the law into their own hands. KARACHI (Dunya News) ? Three more suspects have been arrested with the help of CCTV footage by the police for torturing a teenage boy to death over alleged theft in Karachi?s Bahadurabad area, Dunya News reported on Monday.
The accused include Anas, Shahrukh and Masood as the total number of arrested suspects has become five. Let it be known that two accused ? Daniyal and Zubair ? were arrested on Sunday.
It is worth mentioning here that 15-year-old Rehan was caught by the area watchman over accusations of stealing from a bungalow while his accomplice managed to escape.
The owner of the house [Daniyal] and his neighbors tied the young boy by his hands and beat him up.
Rehan?s father ? Muhammad Zaheer ? talked to media and said his son worked as a butcher during Eid-ul-Azha. He said Rehan told him he was going to collect money for his work, but never returned home.
The case was filed on the request of Muhammad Zaheer.
thats what happens when society gets an ultimate level of frustration.Aggression replaces sanity. For last 10+ days Karachiittes are going through a hell. Its a total chaos and disrupt. In this case they just targeted a poor “suspect” to make him victim of their flames of anger.
we’ve to recite a Inna lillah collectively on entire society
These are the results of last 40 years of violence and destruction of education in Karachi and I will clearly hold MQM and Altaf Hussain responsible for this. This boy seems to have never gone to a school and his father seems to be between 40-50 years and he has got more kids and himself an illiterate person as well. During last 40 years Karachi’s education and peace was systematically destroyed first by MQM and then other parties. Instead of up lifting of poorer areas of Karachi - even the better ones down graded by this politics. And now Karachi has become one the worst cities of the world.
This is so disappointing and depressing to see this. My generation time would be over soon but what about our kids??? Shame on Altaf and company to destroy this great city.
This is the country where people steal and rob billions and then get awarded Premierships and Presidencies for their heroics and a 14-year-old is beaten to death for allegedly stealing a petty living.
Lets straight the fact… two arrested personnel looks educated.. they are well educated but they killed a boy.
Yes boy was uneducated… and there are reasons for that… he can not go school.. he was not citizen of Pakistan… government does not want to give citizenship to Bengalis who are living in slum areas of Karachi… we all know who is the ruler of Sindh…Even PTI could not do much while having PM, President and MNAs from karachi…
I was born and raised in Liaqatabad. I was educated in government schools over there in in the 70’s and early 80’s. Later I became a professional accountant. Since 1986 - all government schools and colleges were politicised by MQM by setting up their units over there. And now we know what is the situation of these institutes in Karachi - Delhi School and College, Karmiabad was of a high standard till 1985.
When we were child we used to hear of cheating in exams only areas such as Lyari - MQM spread it all over the city and to Hyderabad as well. MQM and Altaf have destroyed this beautiful city.
