**sun? a family newspaper? when exactly did this happen?
btw there is much more nudity in scandinavian countries..much much much more.**
so its there that the theory fails.
I didn't say nudity in the printed media was the only reason. I was simply putting forward an opinion as to what one of the contributing factors could be and comparing the UK to the US (not Europe) . Yes, there is more nudity in Scandinavia and also certain other countries like Germany but they also have different policies regarding sex ed, underage contraception, binge drinking (which has shown to be a factor in regards to unprotected sex) etc. etc.
Regarding the first point, 'The Sun' isn't sold on the top shelf, is it? Anyone can go into a newsagent and buy it. It also explicitly describes itself as a 'family newspaper.' I don't want to link to the actual page where it calls itself that as it shows nude photos of Heather Mills but if u want to dispute that point further just google 'sun family paper heather mills' or something. Fair enough u don't agree with that definition but doesn't stop the paper labelling itself as that.
