There are some programs which are never coming to end but there are many which are going to start soon. Here we give you a quick glimpse of programs going to start on television soon. Have a look and choice the one you want to follow for rest of coming months.
Mein Soteli – Urdu 1
The channel started the trend of airing Turkish plays but some quality Urdu plays have also been at its credit – including Sanam Jung and Adnan Siddiqui starrer Meray Humdum Meray Dost which is widely appreciated for its stellar performances and interesting script. Now the channel is coming up with Mein Souteli. The teasers reveal the drama’s three main characters – Ananya (Sherry Shah), Ali (Rizwan Ali) and Farid (Kamran Jilani). The story I am guessing from the teaser could be that Ananya is in love with Ali but her life takes a turns and she end up marrying Farid whose wife has died. I must say in terms of story and cast nothing exciting at all but lets hope the performance are good enough to hold the audiences attention.
Chup Raho – Ary Digital
Hamza Ali Abbasi hit serial Pyaray Afzal is heading towards its end and Yasir Nawaz directed drama Chup Raho will replace it soon. The play cast include Sajal Ali and Arjumand Rahim. Here is a picture of Chup Raho team.
**Sarmad Khoosat and Madiha Iftikhar ‘s untitled Eid play **
Some pictures of Sarmad Khoosat and Madiha Iftikhar have been rotating on Facebook showing them in festive mood. Seeing the pictures we can judge that shooting of mehndi scene is going on. The play cast also include Maria Wasti. With good star cast I am looking forward to watch this play on Eid.
**Alvida – Hum TV **
Pakistan’s most good-looking actors Imran Abbas and Sanam Jung have come together once again for Hum Tv’s drama ‘Alvida’. Humsafar fame Naveen Waqar and Ahista Ahista Mawara Hocane will also be seen in the play. The story and screenplay of the drama is written by Samira Fazal who has earlier penned the very successful dramas- Shakk, Kabhi Kabhi and Mera Naseeb. It will be directed by ‘Dil-e Muztar’’s director Shahzad Kashmiri.
Abbas is currently busy in promotion of his debut Bollywood film Creature 3D but all his fans are eagerly waiting for this serial to on-air as they expect it to be better than the film.
Shanakht – Hum TV
Starring Aunn Zara lead actress Maya Ali and Aseer Zadi’s Noor Hassan will now be seen in Hum TV play Shanakht. The poster of the serial is out in which Maya is shown wearing a Hijab. The channel also run a telefilm starring Danish Taimoor with the same title a couple of week ago but this play is not linked to it at all.
Kya Kahein Tujhse – Hum TV
Behind the scene pictures of Mekaal Zulfiqar and Urwa Hocane have been shared on Facebook. There are no other details that have been revealed so far. When we asked a Hum rep about the drama serial he told us it was a secret so we are waiting to see what the project is all about!
**Goya – ARY Digital **
Do you miss the innocent Aunn (Osman Khalid Butt) of Aunn Zara? Well, he is soon to return to your television screen with another entertaining serial Goya written by Mohammad Ahmed and directed by Faiz. Sana Javed, the girl who play Ayeza Khan’s sister in Pyaray Afzal will be in lead with Butt in this serial.
Zid – Hum TV
Hum television Ramadan transmission host Ahsan Khan will next be seen in drama serial Zid. Maya Ali will play his love interest in the drama whereas the other leading cast include Maya Ali and Nausheen Shah. The play is being shot in Washington DC.
Papar Se Pizza Tak – Hum TV
Drama makers are working hard to make this Eid an entertaining experience for you. Another comedy play to go on-air during Eid is written by Faseeh Bari Khan and directed by Mazhar Moin. The star cast included Hina Dilpazeer, Durdana Butt, Fatima Afandi and Ahmed Ali Butt. If you are looking for some good laughter this play should certainly be your choice. Keep surfing channels to know where it will be on-air this Eid.
**Tonite with HSY – Hum Sitaray **
Couturier Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, popularly known as Sheru, will be appearing on his very own hour long talk show, Tonite with HSY to air on Hum Sitaray after Eid. Although it has constantly being compared with famous Indian show Koffee with Karan but Sheru denies any such comparisons. Whatever be the inspiration HSY fans are excited to see the new avatar of their favorite designer.
Bushra Ansari’s upcoming play – Urdu 1
Comedy queen Bushra Ansari is coming up with an entertaining play on Urdu 1. In the drama promo Ansari made a dashing entry on motorbike with dark glasses on eyes and while playing with the bike keys she warns Chauhdhry to be aware of her anger as he has only seen her love. Check out the teaser.
Danish Nawaz comedy play – Express Entertainment.
Danish Nawaz new comedy play is a story of poor memon guy who has become a sandwich between his memon mother and wife and to make it worst his several kids are there too. Here is the teaser of the play.
Rangbaaz – Express Entertainment
Written by Ali Moeen, directed by Naeem Khan Raagbaaz is starting on Express Entertainment from August 6, at 8.00pm. The cast include Shabbir Jan, Yasra Rizvi, Nausheen Shah, Sundus Tariq, Imran Ashraf, Natasha Ali, Sajid Shah, and Tariq Jameel. Veteran Shabbir Jan play the central character and is returned in a strong role after a very long time – for the past few years he had engaged himself in ridiculous comedy plays and it is good to see him back in a character role.
