Despite having all God given natural mineral hardworking manpower resources we are really an unlucky nation that we ourselves cut more the very foundations of our home where we live compared to outsiders. We are bent upon defaming the country, the army, the institutions. I am an ordinary man working on a shop. I am foolish. I may be wrong in above. But very much known elder writer Mehmood Sham in his article of 27.1.05 in Jang says “Say it unfortunate or natural that amongst Pakistanis have become negative” Giving many examples he says “in order to get sympathies and appreciations of our being liberal and bright minded, taking with foreign journalists and diplomats we even do not hesitate talking about national office secrets”. On the present unfortunate balochistan crisis we are bent up to take it as guaranteed that Government and Army is the full fault. No body except for a fraction of people appears to be ready that there might be a little wrong from otherside. Wajid Shamual Haq has paid his “haq-e-Namak” under his Article Will Pakistan Army Invadte Balochistan as per CIA Plan. He writes “Setting up new cantonments obviously is the part of military Establishment’s branchild of coverting Pakistan into a Garrison State”. He had been our High Commissioner. He I am sure must still be getting any sort of pension etc from this nation, if not my apologies. He had been our Ambassador but his conscious does not deliberately asks him to fresh his memories that his leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was the one who first took military action against Balochistan and he was the one who created more Cantonments in the country during his In Sindh all Cantonments except for Karachi were created during his tenure. Wadjid Shamsul Haq and people like him shamefully while showing all their sympathies to Nawab Akbar Bugti deliberately forget that it was Nawab Akbar Bugti himself under whose tenure as Government of Balochistan the military action was taken. Lady Doctor’s rape is condemnable. Every one worth of his salt is wasting no time in writing long articles asking the alleged Army Captain to be arrested who as per South Asia Tribune was named by Akbar Bugti. But I cannot understand at the same time an 8 year girl in Karachi who went buy a bread was abducted, raped and murdered but no Shamsul Haq, no Najam Sethi, No Shaheen Sehbai has raised even a single voice. No Najam Shethi, no Shamsul Haq, no Shaheen Shabi has given ever a single world of comment on recently disclosure of figures by the Government that more than 120 Millions is given by the Government to Nawab Bugti in the name of welfare of the people and where is that welfare? The other day a Pakistani Engineer now residing in USA has stated that he is a retired employee of Sui. He described even in old good peace time they always spent time in Sui field with fears despite remaining in fenced walls. The fears were from Bugti tribesmen. He describes that one ordinary technician used to cost the company from Rs. 25 to 30 thousands a month. Why? Same reason the company had not power to say anything about ghost workers, 400 hours a week overtime, use of cars etc. On the damage of gas pipe line on of the so called Bugti refugee stated this action by liberalist was OK as the affectees of this damage were Punjabis. This was not Punjabis loss only. I am living in Karachi. This damage is also to effect me. When it would be repaired the expenses incurred by the company would be recovered from me and all in the shape of increase in gas rates. The other day live on Geo TV remarks of a Baloch leaders (I could not note the name) were also eye opening. He stated the number of Baloch employed in Balochistan as being told by Bugti and others is not correct. He alleged these leaders only count the people who are from their own tribes and not over all. He quoted an example of a para military force where according to son of Bugti there were only 300 Balochis out of 10,000 while this leader told the audience only recently 1,000 posts was a few months back given to a tribe (Mauri perhaps). The latest Kori issue must open eyes. Who want to kill the lady doctor and why? One need to think over from this point. We will soon see the lady doctor getting visa for abroad? Whose game are we playing?
Balochistan should be developed. If the present finance, jobs etc are less they should be given more. If royalty is less it should be given to them more but these Najam Sethis, Shaheen Shehbais and Shamusl Haqs need also to say that 120 million yearly being given to Bugti should now be given to the Balochistan Government for spending may be 100% employees in Balochistan sons of soil. But this enemy treatment towards the country should be left now. Before this be finished Mir Jamilur Rehman has in his article confirmed that in addition to 120 million annually, Nawab Bugi also fetches salaries of 100 employees who are on the payroll of gas company through they have never worked for it. The company management has never seen them and at best they could be ghost employees – a sort of Jagga tax says Mir Jamilur Rehman. (an ex Engineer says it cost then many years back Rs. 30,000 approx one employe salary plus bogus overtimes of 300 hours 400hours bogus medical bills )The company has also in addition given jobs to 450 people from Bugti tribe belying Sardar Bugti’s claim that even ordinary workmen are brought from outside. Speak up Sethis, Haqs and Shehabis, please at least a world.
