You attack them, they attack you. I don't know where religion comes in the mix, only since the terrorists claim to be propagating a particular religion?
By the way this is not something in isolation, US occupation of Vietnam also gave as monsters like Viet Cong and Khmer Rouge. These groups also killed thousands of their own country men. No one mentioned their religions then.

Read todays The Hindu editorial on page no. 15. It says, "Peris's Syria policy has actually contributed to the destabilisation of the West Asian country that created circumstances for the rise of groups such as IS". It also explains what is her policy and what should/shouldn't be done.

Absolutely terrible and shocking what happened in Paris but the West (unjust bombing and invasion of Iraq - not just once but twice! - and subsequent power vacuum) must take some blame for the present mess in Syria. I know Assad is a ruthless dictator but the Western media and politicians tried to mislead everyone initially by portraying all anti-Assad protesters as 'freedom fighters.' They are the ones who supplied them weapons. Why could they have not acted more forcefully against IS and 'Jihadi John' (one of his victims, David Haines's daughter raised the same point two days ago) from the outset. Why act now after a dozen or so beheadings? They literally allowed this monster to flourish.

It might be time for the western world to examine the policy that dictatorships should be disposed of. They seem to be more successful at keeping a lid on extremists. Additionally, it is the duty of the Muslim world to support and take in the victim refugees, Europe and the United States cannot continue business as usual.

The one odd thing about all this is one of the passports of a terrorist was found on the scene. Who goes into these things to blow themselves up and has his passport on him ?

There have been comments from Iraq and Turkey leadership that they had warned France about an impending attack. Did they close their eyes on purpose to let these attacks happen.
At the end of the day it is the poor citizen who suffers. In Syria as well as Paris it is the poor citizen who has suffered.
I honestly believe that Saudi Arabia should take the leadership role, sit across the table with Iran,Syria and find a viable solution. It is time that the west is asked to pack up from the middle east. it is good both ways.

Saudis, yes like that is going to happen.
If it was an alternate reality, I would say that Pakistan should take the lead with no strangle each other relationship with saudis and iran, but seriously, in this reality, Pakistan needs to stay far far away and fix its own goddamn house. All these saudis and even iranis would want is to band together and screw Pakistan in the end.
Turkey is more well placed, but even they are not accepted by the parties. Everything is too dysfunctional.

Why do you assume that because it's not a criminal offence for you to not carry ID, that other countries are the same?
Everybody in France must carry an official ID. For non EU-foreigners, this means you must carry your passport with you at all times.
If these attackers did not have their passports on their person, then something as routine as a traffic offence on their way to do the attack, or even a mildly suspicious or racist police officer wanting to see ID, would lead to a more detailed check if they were unable to produce ID.
Another factor is that the attackers were trying to get into the football stadium, for which I read that you have to provide your official ID to prove that your name matched that on the ticket (turns out they were unable to buy tickets at the gate and that seemed to upset them). For foreigners.... that would be the passport.

We see most of the attackers were/are in their 20s or early 30s. This means youth is being radicalised. I think they should be deradicalised, sincere efforts should be taken in this direction. Already governments are taking some steps in identifying them and their deradicalisation. This is far better than to kill all those who have joined terrorist outfits.
