I stated previously that you are looking at it from a certain cultural perspective. Who is to say that one culture is better than another. If people are happy with their culture then I am happy for them. I am not one to judge them.

In this case the father made a decision in the interest of his family and his daughter. The daughter agreed to get married and naturally as a couple they tried to have a baby but unfortunately she died.

It would have been better for her to marry a few years later. It would have been better to wait a few years before trying for a baby. That is as far as I will go. I have no right to tell others how to run their lives. I will not try to impose the western cultural viewpoint on others. I know from experience that we should appreciate our cultural differences as that is part of being human and understanding our humanity.

1st of all, the Father did make a decision for the interest for his family but not for his daughter.

At 11…no one is ready for marriage…doesnt matter what culture you belong to…your are medically and physically not ready for marriage…

2nd, the daughter had no say in the matter. How are you assuming she did?

Condemn things which are wrong.

Don’t use the absurd logic that if somehow you condemn some people for their stupid behavior and if they turned out to be Muslim then you are condemning Muslims.

No where does in Islam say that a girl can be married at 11. This is condemning tribalism, and backwardness and not Islam.

Notice that I did not use Islam, Muslims, Arabs, in the title of this thread, but said 12 year old girl dies while giving birth.

For you to interject Islam to defend all stupid muslims is a cop out.
