Reciting naats is ok, but people cross their limits reciting naats.
Jo hukm hay, pehlay woh karo, uss kay baad hamd parho. Ahkaam tor ker, hamd o naat say kuch nahi milta.

I am quite impressed with your cool headed way of reasoning and the ability to use proper words 
. I didnt take anything personally 
The only thing is that we agree on the BASICS … then differ slightly on the more specific details. I absoutely agree that when the element of Shirk comes into the Naat then its something that should be avoided.
But - My childhood memories are filled with the Ramazan atmosphere in the house, before iftaar time, and a beautiful naat on the TV, just expressing the love and respect for Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (SAW).
Now please move on… and do something else for a change
