how bad does it really get? i remember last yr the tragedy at nishtar park… this yr moharam went by pretty safe in karchi that is… i will be getting married march 31st in the city.. and i dont know yet if 12 rabi ul awal falls on that day… but just incase.. i just wanted to know what to expect

It would be either 10th or 11th of Rabilawwal.
Stay away from Central and Southern disctricts. i.e: Nazimabad, F.B. Area, Guru-mandir, M.A Jinnah road all the way to tower, Sadr area and Gulshan-Iqbal/Gulistan-Johr.
Defence, Clifton and Society areas are safe. Don't pass by the Milad gatherings. And if you have one for your own Mayon (as some ppl do) keep it a week before 12th Rab, that too in-side without speakers.
