Its a part of Islamic relief and the child that we pick can be from one of these countries:
Bangladesh
Chechnya
India
Mali
Sudan
Sri Lanka
South Africa
Ethiopia
Yemen
The reason why us girls started doing this in the first place was because most of us dont have jobs and/or are students and can’t commit for life yet, but we still want to help. Together it costs us $33 per year and if we did it by ourselves it would be $396. If any of you can afford it then you guys should def sign up yourselves, its very rewarding!
Femme I think at this time you cant just make a one-month payment, it has to be a one year commitment. Here is the message that you get:

The only thing they provide is the Orphan Ref#.
If you guys feel weird sending the money/info to me then just start this with your family and friends. I am sure we all know atleast 12 people who can afford $33.
Sobi I do plan on doing this every year inshAllah either by myself(once i have a job) or with friends and family. If i am on GS next year and if this is successful then inshallah i will do it next year again.
