Summer in Lahore has always been like this.but the power outages and no water all day long,is what makes it miserable.
At my parent's house they have an electric water filter.And all day long my mom is unable to use it because when they have electricity,they have no water.When they have water,there is no power.The timings for the both to be present is around 11 pm.Ammi stays up to actually fill up all bottles and jugs and whatever she can for next day's consumption.
It is a form of torture..!

I really feel for my family and everybody else in Lahore. Imagine not only bearing such heat but also going through loadshedding of about 18 hours.
I miss mama’s amazing lemonade and the big ‘tarbooz’ abbu used to bring and then mama would cut them and divide them amongst all us kids. And not to mention those midnight mango parties
