How do you entertain them?

if they are boys then they wana play cricket (always works for desi boys) else if they know how to play games on the computer then hook them up to a pc game
- if they are girls (a bit more difficult to entertain girls) then they wana play girly games like chham chham and so on or they want to dress up or play with dolls and stuff
- coloring ... give them some color pencils and a coloring book... but this is not for the overly adventurous souls
take it from an expert, mashllah i've got a lotta bhanjay/bhateejay/bhanjiaan/bhateejyaan

play battle ships and cruises. its always fun. if its a nice day, go to the park and play footi or something.
invent a game! oh and if uv got paints or arty stuff, create something.
watching a movie is ok, but kinda boring if ur a 10 year old.

how about playing Islands
make each large piece of furniture in the room is an island ie chairs sofas tables.
one person is chosen as the shark and has all the floor space.
idea is to run across the floor the another chair or whatever and the shark has to try and catch them before they get to the island.
if they're caught they swap places with the "shark"
its a boisterous game to play, kids love it.

Tag, pictionary, paper mache, herd them to the kitchen and help them make their own snacks.

i never thought this day would come, but Lazy, i agree with Matsui. Your game lacks so much, its pretty lame.
plus, your forgetting health and safety issues, u cant let kids jump from furniture, what if the dining table is glass and a kid jumps right through it.

Roman swimming cannot save you against the shark..you need to be like Richard Dreyfuss and make sure you havea harpoon gun. Lazy, that is another problem. If you shoot the shark, who does the clean up? And god forbid you break the vase on top of the antique halfmoon chinese cabinet…who tells mom?

10 years old don't need to be entertained. just wath for safety and let them play amongst themselves.
If is's just one 10 year old - as the kid what he/she likes to do. Then if you like the kid, do what he/likes. If you don't like the kid, you will know what you shouldn't do

All I can say in my defence is that its a game Ive played with lots of 6,7,8,9,10,11 year olds
in places where thre are NO glass tables

Children have imaginationsand therefore are quite happy playing the "shark"
and they love it.
