I am totally confused to what to give my wife this year. She does not like expensive items like diamonds.
Not sure if I should keep the kids part of celebration or take her out alone?
Any creative ideas?

Hmm... she does not like diamonds? they are not so expensive anymore... cheaper than gold these days!
khair... take her on a romantic day/night out... or a trip somewhere... take lots of pics together and experience something new and different... the pics will be a reminder of ur wonderful 10th anniversary and both of u will remember the time u spent together...
if thats too much effort then, flowers, a card? my dad gave my mum a locket with their wedding picture in it from 25 years ago and had it enscribed too... too cute!

Babaji, you can also cook something for her, like steak dinner or lamb biryani using shan masala. or get her a gift-card for a spa day, it usually includes facial, massage, skin treatments, manicures, etc; she can be pampered there for whole day. you can also give her Sephora gift-card if she is into makeup and stuff.

Roll yourself in gift paper and sit on her dressing as she comes in the bedroom...

Do NOT make kids part of the celebration. Please.
Take her out for a romantic dinner, give her flowers and a present to celebrate ten wonderful years together! Get her something special...maybe some engraved that she can keep as a momento for years to come.
Very sweet.
